William Donald Campbell

William Donald Campbell, 86 passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Savannah, Georgia. He recently lost his beloved wife, Pamela Sue Campbell in December 2014. Born on October 16, 1928 in Toronto, Canada, he was the son of Elwood and Lenamae Campbell. Don is survived by his two daughters, Karen Reilly of San Diego, CA and Martha Prue of Naples, FL ; sister, Jane Campbell of Thornhill, Ontario; and predeceased son, Brian Campbell.

He was a graduate of Trinity College, University of Toronto. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University where he received an Honorary Master’s Degree from the Graduate School of Business Administration.

Golf and family were Don’s life. It was golf that brought him to the Landings some twenty years ago. Don was an avid golfer and when not on the course could be seen tooling around the Island with their beloved Welsh Corgi, Margo on the front seat of the golf cart. He also served as a board member of the Landings Association.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter‘s Episcopal Church. Burial will be in the church garden. There will be a reception in the church parish hall following the burial.
